In Beringel, you'll find this amazing hidden restaurant. Very good Alentejo food. Very good black pork rodizio. You'll be satisfied with both the quantity and the quality. This is now a must-try on a visit to the capital of Alentejo (Beja). The price is also low compared to the quality and quantity of the food.

I loved the lizards, very tender meat grilled to perfection, which came with homemade French fries, like pala pala, and salad. The waitresses were neither friendly nor unfriendly. In my opinion, a little more empathy with the customer wouldn't hurt. I even joked with one of them, complimenting the menu, and she didn't even react. Okay, each person is as they are. But all in all, a pleasant surprise hidden in the hinterland of Alentejo! I'll be back!!
